Announcing an exciting update to the eBird Mobile app! Now you can use eBird Mobile to explore all of your previously submitted eBird checklists—including checklists submitted from other devices and the eBird website, as well as checklists that are shared with you.
Your submitted eBird checklists are always stored safely, permanently, and for free on the eBird website. With these improvements, if you reinstall eBird Mobile or change devices, you will still have access to all of your submitted checklists. Plus, new ways to sort and filter your submitted checklists and access Trip Reports, all from your mobile device.

To explore these updates, simply open the latest version of eBird Mobile for iOS or Android and tap ‘Checklists’. Use the new Sort and Filter feature in the upper right corner to find previously submitted checklists based on location, date, or portal.
Tap any checklist to view it in the app. Use ‘Edit’ to change basic details such as the date, location, or species list. Or tap ‘eBird.org’ to add or manage photos and sounds and share the list with other members of your group.
