Lead and direct an engineering team to design, implement, and maintain complex mobile applications that reach more than three million active users a month. The Lead Mobile Software Engineer will manage software engineering projects, architect application solutions, and serve as a primary technical liaison between internal teams and external customers to advance both the Merlin and eBird apps. We’re seeking a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial candidate with significant leadership experience in the tech industry, who is motivated to integrate science, technology, and people to make a difference for conservation and inspiring the public to embrace and protect healthy ecosystems. This role requires in-depth, hands-on experience managing complex web applications hosted on premise and in the cloud.
